An update on NPQs and a request for feedback!

 

Hello! We hope you're coping with the heat and looking forward to the end of term. This is just a brief update on NPQs, and a request for your feedback.

We're very grateful for your ongoing support of our work. As part of our continued designation as a Teaching School Hub, the DfE asks that we survey schools annually to find out how they rate our services. We are required to report on this as part of the Department's oversight of our work.

It's important that we are held accountable for what we do – not only are we a government-funded organisation, but we also work with teachers at the very beginning of their careers, and they deserve the best start in the profession that we can provide via initial teacher training, the ECT programme and our appropriate body service. In our delivery of NPQs, we work with more experienced teachers at all stages of their careers – and they also deserve the best we have to offer, since they are the backbone of our schools.

We would be immensely grateful if you would take a few moments to complete the survey, and help hold us to account for the teachers and pupils in your school.

The Julian Teaching School Hub, in partnership with Ambition Institute, is now accepting applications for the following National Professional Qualifications (NPQs):

Leadership

  • NPQ in Headship
  • NPQ in Early Years Leadership
  • NPQ in Senior Leadership
  • NPQ for SENCOs.

Leadership qualifications are fully funded for all colleagues in state funded schools in England.

  • NPQ in Leading Behaviour and Culture
  • NPQ in Leading Literacy
  • NPQ in Leading Teacher Development.

Specialist qualifications are funded for colleagues in schools on the DfE's eligibility list. For unfunded schools, the cost of the specialist NPQs is £899 per participant.
