Express your interest: Increasing Diversity in ITT project

Coaching support for SCITTs.

The Chartered College of Teaching, Chiltern Learning Trust and Being Luminary, with funding from Mission 44's Diversity in Education Fund, are inviting SCITTs to express their interest in participating in a coaching support programme.

The goal is to increase the acceptance rate of ethnic minority teacher training applicants and their successful completion of QTS by addressing issues such as unconscious bias, inequitable application and assessment processes.

With funding from Mission 44, this coaching support will be available to you free of charge. In the next year, at least 10 SCITTs will be selected, and we aim to work with 40 SCITTs across the country over 4 years. The support is designed to be accessible virtually, with in-person activity offered if geographical proximity allows.

Find out more and register your interest.

The deadline for registration is Friday 18 July 2025.
