Use of Research in Education: Teachers/Practitioners Survey
This study is primarily concerned with how teachers use research evidence in their practice and your answers will help develop this understanding. We hope that the outcomes of the study will have positive benefits for other teachers in helping them to use more research in their practice too.
We define research evidence as findings from studies that support notions of what works in teaching and learning. This could be research done by your own school (for example, tracking whether a new reading program improves student results) or by specialist organizations like the Education Endowment Foundation that study education across many schools.
The survey is designed to explore use of research evidence in your practice and should take around 15 minutes to complete.
Following completion of the survey, you may be contacted to take part in an optional short follow up interview. This will be to further explore the use of research evidence within your school.
