ITT Scholarships in Physics

The Institute of Physics (IOP) is awarding 175 scholarships worth £30,000 to individuals who are committed to inspiring future generations of physicists. Scholarships are for those starting teacher training in England in September 2024.

The additional benefits of the scholarship programme are professional development opportunities including:

  • Access to Continued Professional Development (CPD) workshops and events
  • Support from a network of fellow IOP scholars and physics teachers across the UK
  • Free IOP membership for their teacher training year.

Scholarships are also available in Physics, Chemistry, Computing and Languages and applications are open across all subjects.

Free event: Supporting your return to a teaching role in England 

The Return to Teaching Advisory Service is running a free webinar on 19 April 2024, 1-2pm for those considering returning to teaching, supported by the Teaching Vacancies Service.
