An update from the MTPT Project
Inspiring, empowering and connecting teachers choosing to complete CPD on parental leave.
"We were very pleased to see our parent-educator community recognised in this week's White Paper with a commitment to ongoing support for returning parents, including a (slight) increase in maternity pay.
In particular, the DfE seems to like the idea of 'peer support, coaching and resourcing' for parent-teachers, which sounds a lot like what we are already doing together with Cradle to Classroom!
With this in mind, here are three opportunities coming up in March for those currently on parental leave and those returning to work in the next few months:
πΆπ½ Spring Parental Leave group coaching begins on Monday 16 March.
π©π»π« March Return to Work workshop – Monday 23 March.
Our Missing Mothers conference is also taking place on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 March. This is an essential conference for any leaders invested in our work, and for any colleagues with young children.
Friday sessions are aimed at leaders; Saturday sessions are aimed at our grassroots parent-educator community."
