There is a fully funded opportunity for ECTs to access a suite of asynchronous professional development materials, called the ‘ECT Expertise in Teaching Maths modules’. The purpose of this is to enhance the current early career teacher entitlement (ECTE), by focusing on teaching for mastery pedagogies. ECTs can access the modules at a time that best suits them, and they can work through them in any order, choosing what to prioritise. The modules are interactive, engaging, and offer ECTs school-based tasks that they can discuss with their mentor.
