The EEF has today published its new Guide to Inclusive Teaching, with practical training resources. The guide offers an evidence-informed framework to help schools support pupils with additional needs.

At the guide's core is a two-part model:

• Strong universal provision
• Effective adaptations and support.

It includes:

• Practical, evidence-informed approaches to inclusive teaching
• A clear focus on strengthening everyday classroom practice
• Advice on identifying effective adaptations and avoiding those that hinder learning
• Scenario-based training resources to support implementation.
